Food for the Poor Program
In and around the town of Yamasa, many Dominican and Haitian families live in poverty and face daily challenges in securing enough food. Our Food for the Poor program, led by the dedicated Gray Sisters, works directly within the community to identify those most in need. Rather than distributing food, the Sisters provide families with grocery store credits, allowing them the dignity and flexibility to choose the items they need most.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. A contribution of $400 can help supplement a family’s food budget for an entire year.
