Ben Wilson Baseball Program

Baseball, also known as pelota, is the official sport of the Dominican Republic. The sport symbolizes unity and a love for country. The Ben Wilson Baseball Program works with local baseball associations in and around Yamasá in promoting accessibility to sport and the benefits of physical education among impoverished youth. This program funds equipment and encourages kids to be active in sport.

Many kids in the Dominican Republic dream of playing professional baseball, while many in areas we work just wish to be able to pick up a bat, glove, a ball and play.
